Here it is, my first giveaway. I told my sister when she started her blog, loriendevon.blogspot.com, she had to have lots of giveaways or no one will visit. I have not done so. I figured, her being the more popular sister, she would have readers. Okay, fears aside, I am officially having a giveaway. I have finally found something worthy of you, my friends.  Ben and Jerry's Frozen Greek Yogurt. Oh, it is heavenly. I will buy the winner a pint of the yummiest frozen yogurt ever. I will pick the winner on Friday( payday). So if you are just curious or if your lookin' for a new addiction, make a comment and I will let Dave pick his favorite friend. If you live out of state, I will send you a check for the well spent $3.80.
This was meant to be shared. I'm sure he had a bite. Okay, I ate the whole thing. Don't tell, it will be our secret. Hey, chubby girls have more fun. It is so worth it. Enjoy life!

Here are a few pictures from my latest photo shoot. Alyssa came out with lots of energy and ideas. We had a lovely morning; I love when the camera captures a person's real smile. Thanks, and happy graduation Alyssa.

a day to be outdoors

I am inspired by this weather and the wonder of a garden. My little men have been cooped up for two days, and now it is time to explore. My oldest has a terrible case of poison ivy and my youngest had a fever that kept him down. I must admit, I enjoyed this slow time with him. I now have a very busy toddler to run after. It was blessed to get to cuddle with him for two whole days. I am so thankful he is back and running.
The garden is looking beautiful after a days worth of rain. I am enjoying the rainbow tomato cages my husband splurged on. It feels very kid friendly now.

The garden is getting bigger.  My neighbor came and plowed up more to plant in. We are so blessed to have great neighbors.

 Love this farm life!

how our garden grows

Here are a few pictures from our latest endeavor, a garden. So far it is going beautifully. My now farmer husband, has heard my lamenting over how expensive food is to feed a family of eight. I am happy to say that up to this point I have done little more than be the garden photographer. Many a morning, I have woken to find my beautiful children up and weeding the garden. I am excited about becoming more self sufficient.  I will keep you updated on our progress.
